You must log in to watch this program.
Category: Current Affairs, Society
Duration: 1x30’
Production year: 2016

Synopsis

You almost never buy without consulthing them. Nowadays, in order to choose a restaurant, a washer or a phone, more than 8 out of 10 French people consult online consumer’s reviews before making their decision.
Nevertheless, according to a study on fraud enforcement, one out of two review would be a fake. They are written by ill-intentioned competitors or sometimes bought from companies that specialise in selling positive reviews. Some even offer to make fake profiles to quickly flood the web and boost an activity or the launch of a new product.
Who’s hiding behind this - often illegal - new business? How much do these precious comments cost ?
