Duration: 1 x 90’
Production year: 2012
Director: Laurent JAOUI

Synopsis

Barack Obama rocketed to the world stage in 2008 with an Election which took on a quasi-messianic dimension. This new leader brought new hope, created global expectations and symbolized a world full of possibilities. However, politically speaking, Barack Obama appeared to be a pragmatist whose first tasks was to get the United States back on track and to restore its tarnished image. The documentary addresses misconceptions that exist between the perception the World has of Obama and his actions. Using in-depth interviews of both political and opinion leaders as well as news archives, this film looks at Barack Obama’s tough Foreign Policy choices and whether their results have kept his star shining or led to his rocket fizzling...
